Italy's largest gym chain puts AI coaching in their member's pocket

FitActive, Italy's largest gym operator with 500,000+ clients and one of Europe's top 20 fitness chains, has launched AI Coach inside its mobile app, powered by Zing Coach, the AI coaching infrastructure for fitness.

AI Coach is available to every FitActive member. The goal is to strengthen the FitActive ecosystem and give members better service and personalized support across training plans, workouts, wellness and nutrition.

Until now, FitActive members received guidance and support from trainers and club staff only inside the club. The partnership expands the club's ability to support its members at home, on solo training days and wherever they are. It also strengthens the expertise of FitActive's trainers and staff with AI, delivered through the app members already use.

Zing Coach is integrated into the FitActive app through an SDK, so members need no new download or account. AI Coach builds training plans around each member's goals and schedule, adapts sessions to how they feel and how much time they have, and answers questions on training, nutrition and recovery. It works alongside FitActive's trainers, not instead of them.

AI Coach is rolling out across FitActive's clubs in Italy, starting with staff and reaching members over the coming weeks.
